Insight Global is looking for a Tech Writer for a large aerospace client in the Warner Robins, GA area. The role involves developing, analyzing, collecting, and storing various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation, and assisting with recommendations. It includes providing recommendations on product supportability, establishing operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to meet supportability requirements for a single equipment subsystem. The role also involves identifying and analyzing logistics support candidates from product definition, developing logistics support analysis records and reports, and determining spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type. Additionally, it includes preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/components, and reviewing aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability.

The responsibilities include developing all publication elements for maintenance of major equipment systems or subsystems, resolving source data gaps and inconsistencies, providing art mark-ups, updating publication elements based on reviews and modifications, collecting and analyzing source data to determine impact on technical publications, identifying and correcting source data inaccuracies, validating source data assumptions, conducting peer reviews for technical accuracy and format standards, and supporting customer verification reviews and taking corrective actions based on outcomes.
