About the RoleJoin a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in hydraulic and fuel system components for commercial and military applications. Our products support a wide range of platforms including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, spacecraft, and turbine engines. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead machining and assembly methodization for new product development and support legacy programs.
Top 3 Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is required.Hands-On Manufacturing Experience (3–5 Years): Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on machining, assembly, and process improvement.Technical ProficiencySkilled in CAD for designing tools and fixturesExperience with CAM software for CNC programmingFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and ERP systemsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment.Create and maintain manufacturing assembly documentation; provide hands-on support to production, inspection, and test teams.Design and implement tools and fixtures to optimize production efficiency.Analyze engineering design changes and assess their impact on materials, work-in-process, and outsourced components; develop and execute action plans.Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and process efficiency initiatives.Collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, planning, and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues.Develop machining strategies and assist with CNC programming for milling and turning operations.Support cost modeling and manufacturing planning for new business opportunities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in CAD software for tool and fixture design.Experience with CAM software for CNC programming.Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with ERP systems preferred.Work EnvironmentExposure to high noise levels from machinery.Potential contact with fumes, dust, mist, oils, and cutting fluids.Hands-on work in a dynamic production setting.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
