**Job Title: Aerospace Assembler (First Shift)** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team responsible for the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components in a reputable aerospace manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with notable clients, using blueprints and standard operating procedures to complete the assembly of built components and parts. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble components and parts. + Utilize power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque to efficiently assemble parts. + Perform electric bond checks to ensure quality and compliance. + Understand and apply Honeywell specifications where applicable. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of assembly experience, particularly with large parts. + 2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment is highly preferred. + Proficiency in using tools such as power tools, hand tools, and drills. + Understanding of basic quality verification practices, including torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the automotive or other manufacturing industries is acceptable. + Experience with commercial or military aircraft engines is a significant advantage. + Familiarity with Honeywell specifications is a plus. + Ability to follow all health and safety guidelines. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy opportunities for overtime and double time pay on Sundays, with a potential pay increase upon permanent hire. The facility promotes a close-knit team culture and adheres to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with initial training conducted during the day shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
