**Job Title: Aerospace Assembler**
**Job Description**
Assembly Technicians perform assembly or sub-assembly of aerospace parts using drills, rivet tools, and other hand tools. Technicians verify compliance with customer requirements using calipers, gauges, and other measuring & inspection tools. Technicians must follow established procedures and work instructions to complete work in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining safe practices and high quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble or sub-assemble aerospace parts using drills, rivet tools, and other hand tools.
+ Verify compliance with customer requirements using calipers, gauges, and other measuring & inspection tools.
+ Follow established procedures and work instructions to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
+ Maintain high quality standards throughout the assembly process.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in assembly, particularly in aerospace, aviation, or aircraft assembly.
+ Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, riveting, rivet guns, and fasteners.
+ Knowledge of sealant application and production processes.
+ Skillful in using hand tools, mechanical assembly, and power tools.
+ Ability to read and accurately interpret shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
+ Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
+ Vocational training in a technical/mechanical field is preferred.
+ Five (5) years experience in mechanical assembly or similar production/manufacturing role is preferred.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a typical office setting with required regular visits to the warehouse/manufacturing environment. Employees may be exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes, vapors, and hazards including forklifts and other moving equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hearing and eye protection, and safety footwear, may be required during visits. The role involves sitting for prolonged periods, regular standing and walking, occasionally climbing steps or stairs, and constant communication verbally and in writing. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
