What you’ll be doing as an Aero Logistics Engineering Specialist:

The Aeronautical Logistics Engineering Specialistposition is accountable for the analysis and technical coordination to develop affordable and supportable aircraft systems. This position is primarily responsible for the development of maintenance procedures supporting aircraft airframes, engines and mechanical systems for commercial programs using the S1000D specification. You will:Develop aircraft maintenance procedures by combining the analysis of engineering designs with practical mechanical experience. Providetechnical supportfor additional activities includingthe following:MSG-3 Scheduled Maintenance AnalysisDevelop Scheduled Maintenance Analysis for Bell 525 Aircraft Systems related to Maintenance Significant Items, Structural Significant Items and Zonal Analysis (Standard, Enhanced, and Lightning / High Intensity Radiated Field)Familiarity / Use of ATA MSG-3 Volume 2 RotorcraftFamiliarity with AC 121-22C (Maintenance Review Boards) under 14 CFR Part 121Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) developmentIndustry documents and manuals across multiple platformsEngineering Design Assessment for MaintainabilityFunctional and Operational ChecksFault IsolationAnalyze and optimize the customers'maintenance experience after field introduction of the aircraft. Collaborate cross organizationally to ensure standardization and compliance for work processes.

Collaborate cross organizationally to ensure standardization and compliance for work processes.Skills You Bring to This Role:We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate for our customer.Airframe and Powerplant (AP) license preferredYou’ll have a head start on the work if you already have S1000D and Standard Technical English experience preferred, and can research in CATIA V6, CAMS and Enovia preferredWhat you need to be successful:High School Diploma (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.At least 5 years of experience required in one of the following fields: Maintenance of military or commercial aircraftTechnical publications development/authoring of maintenance manualsExperience working with CAD and configuration management application preferred.
