We are seeking an Aerial Lineman to join our team in Mt. Vernon, WA. In this role you will be working in a variety of environments (indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated spaces) and performing aerial fiber and coax installation, resolving and troubleshooting issues and providing excellent customer service.

The Role

Complete installation of products and servicesMay be asked to manage crew(s) in daily workInstall and/or repair aerial cable tv (CTV) coaxial and fiber cablePlace, relocate and remove poles, lines, open wires, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of the customer’s facilitiesSet up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriersPrioritize, organize and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlinesResolve and troubleshoot issuesWork in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevatedTravel to various client sites, sometimes overnight stays as neededNavigate a variety of terrains managing tools and equipmentDirect traffic in accordance with local Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines as necessaryStrive to provide the best customer experience every dayOther duties as assigned Requirements 2+ years of experience working in and troubleshooting aerial fiber optic installation and/or telecommunications construction requiredCoax hardline experience a plusPrevious experience leading/managing others a plusAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsStrong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirementsFamiliar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelinesExperience and ability to splice 875, 750, 625, 500 coaxial and set up node and amps for activationOpen to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as neededAbility to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as neededExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programsAbility to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devicesAbility to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)Ability to complete tasks with small components and wiresAbility to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the timeAbility to use gaffs to climb polesAbility to build hardline on poles and use a lasherAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and toolsA body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority.
