Responsibilities
The Client Advocate is responsible for overseeing and facilitating therapy services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Client Advocate coordinates the service delivery process and ensures ongoing therapy is taking place in the manner prescribed.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for between 45-55 clients at various stages of the therapy process.
Engages with potential clients and coordinates the intake and onboarding processes.
Manages, coaches, develops and supports a team of Behavior Technicians.
Aligns existing and new staff for case opens and sets expectations with the treatment team.
Monitors for any schedule changes with the therapy team and ensures utilization meets criteria.
Ensures contractual obligations are met, including timelines and service delivery expectations.
Ensures authorizations are approved prior to the delivery of services.
Re-staffs cases and coordinates with the recruiting team on replacement staff.
Creates and sustains a culture of growth and success that will attract and retain key talent and achieve a high level of morale.
Offers direction and support to payers, referral sources, and clients.
Oversees, and at times performs, onboarding functions for new staff including equipment requests, certification and maintenance of certifications, and training.
Oversees, and at times performs, case opening functions for new clients.
Oversees and performs ongoing client management.
Ensures staff’s available hours are maximized.
Assists in identifying the hiring needs for specific geographies.
Conducts and/or oversees interviews for behavior technicians, in collaboration with recruiting.
Directly or indirectly manages ancillary staff as assigned.
Travels as needed to assigned markets to aid in business development, interviews, conferences, or other necessary activities to promote performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Demonstrated success as an operational leader in a healthcare related role.
Posted Salary Range
USD $55.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
