Senior AssociateJob Description & Summary
Our Advisory practice invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Valuations Senior Associate. A career in our Valuations team will provide you with the opportunity to work on a broad range of valuation engagements for clients that include large, sophisticated asset managers and family offices, as well as smaller regional and local operating companies.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, your role will include the following:
Conducting financial analyses and valuations of a variety of asset classes, including private equity, private debt, venture capital, and real estate.
Preparing valuation reports, memorandums and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. This includes valuations for financial reporting, transactions and litigation / disputes.
Developing detailed financial models and performing sensitivity and scenario analyses on existing client models.
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to discuss valuation reports and findings
Supporting the broader Corporate Finance team on transaction advisory mandates, including buy-side and sell-side M&A and financial due diligence.
Required Experience
The preferred candidate will have:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally within a valuation, transaction services or corporate finance team
An internationally recognized professional qualification in accounting (CPA, ACA, CA, etc)
A valuation / finance focused qualification (CFA, CBV, ABV, MBA etc) or progress towards obtaining one
Demonstrable knowledge of business and investment valuation concepts
Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
