Advisory Clinical Scientist

**In this role, you have the opportunity to**
Carry out industrial research, enlarging relevant knowledge and bringing-in new knowledge. Representing a relevant competency of the group and developing oneself in line with Group strategy.
**You are responsible for**
• Performing as an experienced Clinical Scientist in MR modality (Ph.D. level and relevant postdoctoral or industry experience)
• Acting as an informal resource or (functional) supervisor for less experienced colleagues.
• Providing support on research collaborations for a challenging topic and research related solutions
• Building and maintains relationships and collaboration projects with research customers
• Keeping scientifically updated on assigned modality
• Giving marketing, sales & service teams advice on new technical and clinical
developments assists in writing technical documents
• Developing and maintains networks and collaboration projects with existing and potential customers; spreads ideas and innovations across customers in the market and between Philips R&D and customers
• Administering and executing own clinical science-related research projects and services
• Participating in customer presentations during site visits or marketing/academic events
• Delivering research & education and supports in integrated solutions
**You are a part of**
Advanced Technical Support team with colleagues who graduated from well-known universities such as Columbia University, Cambridge University, Peking University, Tsinghua University and the University of Hong Kong. You will have close interaction with local and global Clinical Science team, R&D team, relevant business units and market organization.
**To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience**
+ MS, MD or PhD degree in medical science, biomedical engineering, physics, medical statistics or other relevant technical background.
+ Strong communication skills (clinical and technical) and teamwork.
+ Can create trust, build and maintain relationships, connect and inspire.
+ Strong problem solver capability and business orientation.
+ Strong capacity to learn and apply advanced knowledge.
+ Good writing skills (Chinese and English).
