Your role as an Advisor – Social Impacts and Outcomes


The Advisor – Social Impacts and Outcomes directly support the strategic capability of the Social Impacts and Outcomes (SIO) team. Reporting to the General Manager - SIO, the role is responsible for advancing WMQ’s social impacts and outcomes agenda, including working proactively with services to quantify, analyse and represent social impact and outcomes findings to the business. The role will also support the ongoing design, improvement of, and contribution to organisational reporting and analytical capability for evaluation purposes.

This role requires an experienced and proactive professional with knowledge of social impacts and outcomes evaluation approaches and methodologies, as well as strong capability in data collection and report design across diverse organisational contexts.


Key Role Accountabilities

Proactively engage in the development and implementation of WMQ’s Social Impacts and Outcomes agenda, including assisting in the design, execution, and evaluation of projects across services.

Developing SIO policies, procedures, plans and reports, including impact and change reports.

Assisting with impact/outcomes data identification, extraction, transformation and loading of data from disparate sources.

Enhancing SIO capability (and organisational capability) in the compilation, analysis, reporting and presentation of key program information.

Using appropriate means to identify trends and patterns within data, enhancing SIO’s understanding of business and program metrics, ensuring commentary and insights into the data is appropriately documented.

Assisting in Product Development - SIO related frameworks, approaches and/or data models using appropriate skills, expertise and SIO/Industry knowledge.


About You 

Experience in a not-for-profit organisation with knowledge in social impacts and outcomes evaluation approaches and methodologies.

Proactiveness and ability to take initiative striving for high quality and professional outcomes

Proficiency in data extraction and management and the ability to produce a range of documents, trend analyses and reports relevant to the user from various data sources.

High level of technical ability in systems such as MS Office, Excel, Quality Management systems and related applications (including reporting).

What you’ll need to start with WMQ

Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Limited Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.

Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

•Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
