The New Porgera Limited now has a vacancy for an Advisor – Program, Employee Development
About the role
Reporting to the Superintendent – Employee Development the position of Advisor Program is responsible for managing New Porgera Limited’s Programs which includes Scholarships, Industrial Training & Graduate Development Program and ensures programs produces outcomes aligned to business objectives.
In this role, you will:
Manage the Scholarship Program, Graduate Development Program and Industrial Training Program
Designing and overseeing development plans for Graduate Development Program & Industrial Development
Be coordinating and delivering training in line with training plans
Oversee and/or participate in recruitment process for the various programs
Policy and Procedure management of these programs
Deliver soft skills training in line with annual training schedule
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in systems, databases, and trackers
Manage and update candidate records in the data base
Maintain a high level of health, safety and environmental awareness and comply with all relevant NPL policies & procedures
About You
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience.
Relevant HR, Business Management or Education Qualification
Cert IV in Training & Assessment
3 years or more experience in managing graduate programs
3 years or more experience in training & assessment
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Mobilization Requirement
This is a PNG National Staff position, a site-based role on a Fly in Fly out arrangement with rotation of 21 days on and 14 days off. Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. (This will be arranged only for successful candidates who progress after the interview stage) and have an up-to-date Police Clearance Certificate (acquired within the last 6 months).
