Lilly has initiated a warehouse transformation program that will enable standardized warehouse processes and support the build of a scalable solution across Lilly manufacturing and distribution sites worldwide as our company navigates unprecedented growth. The Global IT team responsible for the design, development and deployment of warehouse solutions is actively searching for an SAP EWM Advisor to join the program.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your primary focus will be on the design and implementation of SAP EWM to meet warehouse management requirements within the areas of API manufacturing. As a Solution Architect, you will partner with business SMEs, cross-functional solution architects, and third party service providers on the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM. You will leverage technical and business process knowledge to influence strategy and design decisions that advance program goals of harmonized, simplified processes and sustainable solutions.
How You Will Succeed
Partner with business stakeholders, cross-functional solution architects within the SAP program as well as architects within manufacturing and Global MES to design sustainable integration across warehouse, manufacturing execution and automation systems.Partner with application architects to influence technical direction of software vendors, service providers, and the service delivery teams.Utilize understanding of supply chain business processes and SAP EWM functionality to anticipate short term and long term requirements.Ensure solution design and documentation facilitates strong support processes with robust monitoring and error handlingCommunicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision making at senior leadership level.Mentor and train IT and business partner colleagues (Lilly colleagues and external consultants) to support the SAP EWM design and MES Integration.Ensure adherence to all quality, compliance and data integrity requirements.Establish key relationships with business users and other Tech@Lilly areas.What You Should Bring
Strong understanding of business process in the supply chain, warehousing, logistics and manufacturing space and the various SAP solutions that enable Digital Supply Chain Experince in upskilling both technical (IT) and non technical (business) resources in the design principles and use of SAP, WM and MES integration.Experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution warehouses with a strong understanding of processes involving batch management, cold chain management, serialization and how these solutions are enabled by SAP EWM and the collective SAP Supply Chain suite of applications. Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team of logistics experts and manufacturing execution system (MES) partners in designing and optimizing material flows across the warehouse including blueprinting, requirement gathering, conceptual design and scoping efforts involving SAP WM or EWM Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. GMP).Strong understanding of quality processes in IT applicable to manufacturing and distribution.Excellent initiative and self-management skills as well as ability to lead teams, influence others and manage conflict.Experience integrating WM and MES solutions.Experience integrating SAP/WM solutions with shop floor equipment and systems.Preferred Requirements
Strong automation integration experience with hands-on experience integrating warehouse automation technologies (ASRS, AGVs, Picking Solutions etc.) with SAP EWM.Experience Digitizing WH business process Strong Computer System Validation knowledge.Your Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field 10+ years of professional experience implementing and maintaining SAP demonstrating relevant understanding of SAP design; particularly in the SAP LE, WM or SAP MO space. Minimum of two full lifecycle implementations integrating Logistic Service Provider’s (LSP’s) with SAP.Minimum of two years experience with a focus on integration across SAP decentralized EWM 9.5 or EWM S4 and other SAP modules (SAP QM, SAP MO, SAP SD, SAP TM or SAP ATTP).

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$135,000 - $213,400Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
