What Internal Audit - SOX contributes to Cardinal Health


Internal Audit is responsible for providing independent oversight over the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, risk management, and internal controls. The SOX team assesses financial, operational, and IT controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Responsibilities

Assesses the design and operational effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, and key reports within the SOX frameworkApplies knowledge of auditing and internal control concepts to evaluate complex business processes and provide general guidancePrepares audit workpapers in accordance with departmental guidelines and expectationsAnalyzes control gaps and formulates potential remediation actionsBuilds and maintains strong partnerships with key stakeholdersProvides guidance and training to less experienced colleagues


Qualifications

4+ years experience in IT audit related field, preferredBachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredWorking understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, preferredExperience with various data warehouse and reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, Alteryx, etc.), preferred

Anticipated salary range: $80,900-$115,500
