Vertu Motors - Advertising Executive 

Location: Rotterdam House, Gateshead 

Salary: Up to £27,000, depending on experience

Purpose of the role 

We’re looking for an Advertising Executive to deliver impactful campaigns that boost brand awareness and drive business growth across national and regional markets. The role ensures alignment with manufacturer activity and divisional projects, maintaining efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across all advertising channels. 

Excellent communication and commercial awareness skills are desired to ensure that Retail and dealership briefs are delivered in full, maximising ROI. Attention to detail is essential to ensure compliance with FCA obligations and manufacturer guidelines. 

The role supports both manufacturer-led and divisional campaigns and reports to the Advertising Manager, working closely with the Retail Marketing team. 

 

Main tasks include 

Campaign Management: 

Set up and monitor paid Meta campaigns within SLA and adhering to approved brief.  Manage budgets, audiences, and creatives to maximise ROI.  Track and analyse performance using Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and other tools; provide actionable insights. 

Creative & Copy Development: 

Develop and test ad creatives with Retail Marketing Managers and Studio teams.  Write engaging copy for campaigns across New, Used, Aftersales, Commercial, and Motability. 

Compliance & Quality Control: 

Ensure campaigns meet FCA obligations and brand guidelines.  Create UTMs and test weblinks for accuracy. 

Research & Reporting: 

Conduct competitive and audience research using Meta Ads Library and Audience Insights.  Deliver post-campaign analysis and identify areas of improvement.  Maintain a central campaign calendar. 

Preferred Criteria  

Proven experience in setting up and managing paid media campaigns. Meta Blueprint certification (preferred)  Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Experience with Google Analytics and project management tools (e.g., Asana).  A degree is preferred but not essential 

Personality & Behavioural Qualities Needed: 

Strong organisational and project management skills.  Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.  Collaborative team player, comfortable with internal and external stakeholders.
