Position Summary: Adventures by Salterra is an in-house outlet that offers an extensive variety of boating and nature-based excursions to guests at Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa. We are searching for an upbeat and inquisitive adventurer-at-heart to serve as our ‘mission control’ at the Adventure Desk, making adventure bookings, sharing detailed information regarding the Adventure Menu, and supporting pre-arrival adventure reservations. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for interacting with guests to plan personalized experiences and showcase the exciting options that we offer. Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will have previous Marriott experience and knowledge of Luxury Collection Brand Standards. Responsibilities include greeting and booking guests on a variety of boating adventures and nature tours, and answering guest questions regarding adventure offerings. Ensuring that bookings and retail items are charged appropriately in various management systems and inventory is tracked. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in nature and activities including but not limited to snorkeling, hiking, biking, kayak and paddleboarding, snorkeling, hikes, and community functions. From time to time, this role may host or guide an experience. Demonstrate strong leadership, desire to share knowledge with team members, and proficient in Microsoft Suite, Marriott systems (MGS, GXP, Opera, Symphony), and Book4Time or similar.
