Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer Posting Start Date: 1/29/26 **At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.** Job Description: **Why you should join** The job objective is to ensure compliance with product quality specifications, customer requirements, APQP and process needs during the product and process design phase according to Lean PD until the formal product and process release is achieved. **Your main tasks** + AQE engineers are part of the project core team and being the voice of the customer as well as the interface to other TE departments within product development phase (NPD) + The AQE is supporting for all typical APQP Deliverables in LEANPD during the product and process design phase until the PPAP process starts, Facilitator. + Support the FMEA meetings to achieve the quality standard, structure, and content. (FMEA Software APIS Moderation reg. to D-FMEA and P-FMEA) + Support and advice Manufacturing Engineering with statistical data evaluation regarding to Measurement System Analysis with QDAS Software SOLARA and Process Capabilities Cmk/Cpk with QDAS Software qs-STAT + The AQE engineers are creating prototype and pre-launch control plans within the team during LEANPD. + AQE engineers evaluates together with the core team members the customer specification, regarding technical quality requirements. + AQE engineers can follow and lead customer 2nd party-audits as a part of a LEANPD project. + AQE is responsible for supporting the “Lessons Learned” process during project start, project development and in case of customer complaints to avoid re-occurrence for new developments. + Collaboration in introducing and training of new quality and engineering related software packages, Quality procedures, and systems. + Supporting the implementation of general quality standards in Engineering departments + Support Safe Launch for critical projects to ensure 0 customer complaints before hand over the project to manufacturing site. **Your ideal background** + Master's degree in Engineering + Up to 3 years of experience in automotive and quality-related activities + **Quality Management Systems:** ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (assessment & compliance) + **Product & Process Quality:** APQP (AIAG & VDA 4.3), PPAP (AIAG & VDA 2) + **Quality Tools:** SPC, MSA, Statistical Methods, Process Capability + **Risk & Prevention:** FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Process Risk Identification + **Auditing:** Process vs. System Audits, Potential Analysis, Run@Rate, Audit Classification + **Process Development:** Product & process planning, serial production support + **Supplier & Customer Quality:** Supplier management, customer support, satisfaction monitoring + **Languages:** English (mandatory – written & spoken) **Competencies** Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork **ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY** TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
