Are you a Qualified Social Worker with advanced skills and a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and families? We’re looking for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join a busy but highly supportive Safeguarding & Child Protection Team in Greater Manchester.
In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working to provide timely interventions and sustainable positive change — from early help to long-term care planning and permanence.

🌟 About the Role
This is a frontline role that covers:
Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Court ProceedingsSection 47 Enquiries and progressing cases to Initial Child Protection ConferencesAssessment work directly with children and familiesMulti-agency working with police, education, health, and early help servicesSupporting sustainable change by promoting local and community-based resourcesAs an Advanced Practitioner, you’ll also play a key role in modelling best practice, supporting colleagues, and ensuring high standards are maintained across the team.
 
✅ What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
A Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work EnglandExperienced (4+ years post-qualified) in child protection and statutory children’s servicesConfident in legislation, thresholds, and planning for permanenceSkilled in complex assessments, case planning, and relationship-based practiceAn excellent communicator and collaborative team playerPassionate about keeping children safe while empowering families🧠 Key Responsibilities
