Position Summary

Serves in collaboration with a Physician as a provider of Cardiothoracic care for patients over the entire spectrum of age and gender. The scope of practice includes diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with demonstrated leadership skills preferred. Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing required. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (or temporary work permit) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky required. APRN Certification from a board recognized national organization required. DEA License required within 6 months from date of eligibility.
