Overview Advanced Practice Provider - INCAR Full Time St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® is located in the heart of Roslyn, NY. At St. Francis Heart Center, there's no guesswork in our angioplasty procedures. We greatly improve outcomes and reduce the possibility of a recurrence of arterial blockage. Our heart and vascular team includes board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and specially trained nurses who are experts in interventional cardiology. A coronary angioplasty, also known as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), uses a catheter to open a blocked artery. Precision angioplasty refers to PCIs guided by 3D intravascular imaging to place the stent as precisely as possible. Necessary length and diameter are customized to the exact millimeter. 3D intravascular imaging sets Catholic Health apart. We don't use the more commonly performed 2D intravascular imaging that requires estimating the placement and length of each stent. currently looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our nationally ranked team of cardiac care professionals. Responsibilities will include: The Advanced Practice Provider will assist collaborating physicians in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in an outpatient cardiology practice setting Appropriate ordering of tests and medications Receiving, interpreting, and communicating internal and external testing results Coordinating admissions and/or transfers to other facilities Consult and coordinate with multidisciplinary team in formulating an appropriate patient plan of care Requirements: Cardiology and electrophysiology experience Must be able to work Saturday rotations as needed Proficiency in 12 Lead EKG testing Nuclear Stress Testing &/or Stress Testing experience Bachelor of Science, Masters preferred in an AMA approved PA or NP program NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License PA or NP Board Certification BLS and ACLS certification Requirements: PA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor’s degree required NP – Current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification Experience PA – Will consider new grad with relevant PA electives or clinical background NP – Will consider new grad with Acute Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP) Certification: Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP) BLS/ACLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program Salary Range USD $66.55 - USD $93.81 /Hr.
