Advanced Practice Provider - Emergency Medicine

York Hospital is a leading Level I Trauma Center, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the region, seeing approximately 93,000 patients annually. We are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and are looking for a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic team.

What you can expect at your practice:

Full-time position; (3) 12s with a rotating schedule of days/evenings/nights - to include weekends and holidays.Ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of patient conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.Manage and stabilize critically ill and injured patients, including those with trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies.Perform advanced procedures and interventions as needed.Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; inpatient and emergency experience is preferred.Must be able to see all ages.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required orBachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. RequiredMasters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred

Work Experience:

1 year Relevant experience. Required

Licenses:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required orLicensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required andBasic Life Support Upon Hire Required orAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required andNurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification.
