Job Details Advanced Practice Providers Cardiology We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our cardiology team on Long Island, NY. The APP will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in both in-patient and out-patient settings. This role requires clinical expertise in managing a broad range of cardiac conditions, collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Meet our physicians: Dr. Michael Edward Rosenband, MD Dr. Rosenband is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in Interventional Cardiology. He completed his cardiology and interventional fellowships at North Shore University Hospital and his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. He brings decades of experience in treating complex cardiovascular conditions and is highly rated by patients for his compassionate and thorough care. He practices in Centereach and Commack, NY. Dr. Abram Rafael Mozes, MD Dr. Mozes is a board-certified cardiologist with subspecialty training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He earned his medical degree from Brown University and completed fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology at respected academic centers. He sees patients at multiple locations across Suffolk County and is known for his expertise in arrhythmia management and advanced cardiac device therapies. Dr. Shamim Ahmed Khan, MD Dr. Khan is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with over 15 years of experience. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center and his cardiology fellowship at Wright State University. Dr. Khan specializes in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization and angioplasty, and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. He practices at several Catholic Health sites, including Commack and Port Jefferson. Dr. Saadat Aleem, MD Dr. Aleem is a board-certified cardiologist with advanced training in cardiovascular disease. He received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Aleem brings a fresh, evidence-based approach to cardiac care and is recognized for his strong communication skills and attentive bedside manner. He sees patients in Commack and Centereach, NY. Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology Key Responsibilities: + Perform thorough cardiovascular assessments and history-taking for patients admitted to the hospital as well as those in outpatient clinics. + Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, and hypertension. + Manage in-patient cardiac care including coordination of diagnostics, therapies, and discharge planning in collaboration with the cardiology team. + Provide outpatient care including routine follow-ups, medication management, patient education, and risk factor modification. + Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and lab results; initiate appropriate interventions or referrals. + Assist in invasive procedures and cardiac catheterizations when applicable and under supervision. + Document all patient interactions, clinical findings, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and timely. + Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuing education to stay current with cardiology best practices. + Educate patients and families on cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology Qualifications: + Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialization or experience in cardiology preferred. + Current NY State license and certification as an NP or PA. + BLS and ACLS certification required. + DEA + Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in cardiology or related field preferred. + Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to manage complex cardiac patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. + Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology Preferred Experience: + Experience in both hospital and outpatient cardiology practice. + Knowledge of current cardiology guidelines and protocols. + Interest or experience in cardiac procedures or research. Salary Range USD $69.54 - USD $90.00 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
