What You'll Champion:

Full-time opportunity to work 13-hour shifts in a Level I ICU at WellSpan York Hospital, an ECMO gold center Patient care includes a wide variety of medical and surgical cardiac patientsPosition offers APPs an opportunity to serve patient populations with high cardiac acuity utilizing a multi-modality approachCritical Care team includes but is not limited to critical care intensivists, cardiac surgeons, advanced heart failure physicians, and critical care pharmacistsAPPs will utilize and manage a variety of mechanical circulatory support therapies for patient stabilization and treatment including ECMO, Impella, and LVADsAPPs will be taught how to do central lines, swans, arterial lines, chest tubes, and participate in ECMO cannulations among other proceduresAPPs will maximize learning and education while working with a high level of clinical autonomy
