**Job Description**
Our interventional radiology group is looking to have an advanced practice provider join their group. This position would cover inpatient rounding, consults, and clinic for interventional radiology at our Saint Luke's north and south locations. This APP will also perform procedures. This position is Monday through Friday. There is no weekend or call requirement.
Perform or assisting in the performance of procedures that are documented in the CPA or PASA and consistent with the educations, training, and experience of both the APP and their collaborating physician. Such as, but not limited to:
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Lumbar punctures
TDC removals
Temporary line placement
Biopsies of kidney, liver, bone, bone marrow, lymph node, lung, retroperitoneal mass, etc.
Be familiar with pre-, intra-, post-, and recovery of the following:
Portacath placement/removal
Temporary dialysis catheter placement or removal
Abscess drains
Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy (DVT or PE)
Nephrostomy tube placement/exchange
Suprapubic catheter placement
Tunneled pleural or peritoneal catheters
Myelograms
G-tube placement/exchanges, G/J tube exchanges
Arteriograms
Venograms
Angioplasty/stent placement
IVC filter placement
Uterine fibroid embolization
Kypho/vertebra/sacroplasty
Celiac plexus block
RFA/cryoblation
Chemoembolization (TACE)
Bradytherapy (Y-90 radioembolization)
Cholecystostomy drains
Billiary drains, intervention
GI bleed, embolization
Transjuglular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt placement, revision (TIPS)
Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter (PICC line, midline)
Central venous catheter placement
Tunneled dialysis catheter placement or removal
Accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data identifies appropriate expected outcomes development and implement plan of care provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes conduct nursing research provide education to patient family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients.
