Overview:
Wellstar Medical Group (WMCG) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Oncology team in Augusta, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care.

Position Highlights:

Join a collaborative team of oncologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers delivering high-quality cancer care.

Full-time, weekday position (Monday–Friday).

Primarily outpatient-based role with occasional inpatient rounding as needed.

Participate in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of oncology patients.

Support infusion center operations, survivorship care, and treatment coordination.

Access to advanced technology, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and robust support staff.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Current Georgia license (or eligibility).

Oncology or hematology experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
