The APP will be expected to manage medical and surgical ICU patients and is encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Essential functions: obtain a medical history, physical exam, document findings, and prepare a plan of care in a timely manner including ordering medications and appropriate tests/procedures. Attend, participate in and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Current team consists of 50 physicians, 30 critical care RNs, 6 Health-care assistants.
Our virtual critical care program provides 24/7 coverage via a shift-based model to 18 different facilities across Illinois and Wisconsin. APPs will cover WI units only.
Critical care services provided by using two-way audio video communication, real-time bedside waveform monitors, and integrated EMR for review of documentation, labs, vitals, and diagnostics.
