Atlantic Health is Seeking a Part-Time Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) – Nights – Summit, NJ Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a part-time Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center. As the neuroscience flagship of Atlantic Health System, Overlook houses a 29-bed neuroscience unit and a newly renovated 12-bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit caring for patients recovering from stroke, brain surgery, seizures, nervous system infections, head trauma, and spinal surgery. This night shift position is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, two nights per week, with weekend and holiday coverage required. The APP will provide comprehensive care in collaboration with the Neurocritical Care and Neurosurgical teams. Key responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnostic interpretation, placement of central and arterial lines, bedside procedures, daily progress documentation, and patient/family education and discussions.
