Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking an Advanced Power Platform Developer to join our Digital EHS Practice. Our work is interdisciplinary, so a wide variety of majors and work experience are acceptable.

This position supports clients by transforming and visualizing data to protect the environment and keep workers and the public safe. A successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability and safety while demonstrating strong technical skills and a desire to learn and adopt new technologies to meet project requirements.

The position also requires work in both self-directed and team-based collaboration scenarios where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

Design, create, and maintain Power Platform tools and dashboards and data structures which supply them.Understand what clients need to do with data and work with experts and coworkers to accomplish it.Query databases and use APIs to obtain data.Suggest innovative solutions for client requirements.Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to work through problems and questions.Engage with coworkers and clients throughout the US and Canada.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationExperience with PowerApps 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field5+ years experience designing and building tools for process automation solutions like Azure PowerApps and PowerAutomateExperience designing and building tools for process automation solutions, including PowerApps (applications without PowerApps experience will not be considered)Experience administrating and maintaining SharePoint sitesExperience with ETL processes at a commercial scaleWorking understanding of relational databasesStrong understanding of ArcGIS/ESRI dashboarding, JavaScript knowledge
