Who You Are
You are a hands-on and solutions-driven engineer with deep technical knowledge in injection molding processes and tooling. Your leadership mindset and technical expertise allow you to mentor others, solve complex challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Advance Molding Manufacturing Engineer you will:
Lead validation of molding tools using Scientific Molding methodology.
Support new tool/product introductions in collaboration with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Manage Tool Shop activities and coordinate tool/mold repairs with suppliers.
Drive cost reduction, efficiency, and scrap reduction projects.
Lead product/tool transfers and coordinate resources to meet project goals.
Install and validate new equipment and support equipment acquisition.
Develop and maintain technical documentation to comply with FDA, QSR, and Breg standards.
Coach and mentor Molding Technicians and Engineers.
Act as a core team member in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Propose and implement changes to improve molding processes and product quality.
Serve as a mentor to other molding engineers and support the Engineering Leader in resource coordination and action planning. Ensure all activities are compliant with FDA QSR, Breg Quality System, and safety policies.Represent and promote Breg’s culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related field).
5+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Certified in Scientific Molding or equivalent experience in injection molding processes, machines and auxiliary equipment (e.g., robots, dryers)
Proven experience managing Tool Shop operations and coordinating mold maintenance or repairs.
Solid knowledge of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and product/process transfer activities.
Strong analytical skills with experience applying root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fault Tree, RCCA).
Effective project management capabilities.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
