Advanced Manufacturing Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking an IT Manufacturing Senior Business/System Analyst to partner with the manufacturing business leads to understand their business processes and requirements to design and deliver IT solutions. Keen problem solving, effective process development, and continued commitment to improve manufacturing system processes will be integral to achieving the role's objectives. This role will require close communication with manufacturing and internal/external IT teams in delivering manufacturing capabilities. The Analyst will provide Digital solutions for the operations sites within Brunswick Boat Group (BBG). This position designs, delivers and leads IoT, advanced analytical solutions as well as Digital Manufacturing.

Additionally, this role will partner with the Site Services team for Physical Security Systems implementation and management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for introducing and applying AI technologies to optimize operations and related activities.

Essential Functions:

Technology & Systems Design
Design and implement advanced manufacturing solutions—including AI-driven predictive analytics, connected worker tools, and shop floor connectivity. Modernize legacy systems using Cloud, IIoT, and Industrial Cloud technologies.

Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
Partner with the Enterprise Architect team and the Advanced Manufacturing Center of Competence (COC) to align solutions with enterprise strategy, technical roadmaps, and AI adoption initiatives.

Process & Systems Analysis
Analyze current manufacturing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Integrate new technologies, including AI and machine learning, ensuring feasibility, compatibility, and measurable impact.

Data & Decision Intelligence
Collect, manage, and analyze manufacturing data to support real-time decision-making and continuous improvement. Develop AI-enhanced dashboards and data models to monitor performance metrics.

Project & Stakeholder Management
Lead end-to-end projects for advanced manufacturing systems. Ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements & Documentation
Elicit and validate functional requirements, document workflows, and support testing, training, and user adoption—ensuring alignment with business and IT goals.

Training & Support
Provide training and ongoing support for new systems and AI-enabled technologies to ensure effective use and maintenance.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using AI insights to optimize manufacturing operations.

Security Systems Collaboration
Collaborate with Site Services to implement and maintain physical security systems, integrating with broader digital infrastructure where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years work experience in Manufacturing related systems.

Experienced in managing projects and coordinating strong cross-functional collaborations.

Highly organized, with proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment.

Strong business acumen, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Willingness to work in both legacy and modern systems as the business transforms.

1-3 year IoT of installing or building sensor experience.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization; effectively communicate complex matters in simply understood terms.

Ability to visually present and communicate data and recommendations.

Comfortable and able to thrive in a matrixed organization.

Embraces the challenge of change.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of professional work experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst focused on manufacturing floor.

Previous experience in configuring and developing IIOT and MES solutions leveraging Ignition is an added advantage.

Experience as a manufacturing engineer.

Exposure in implementing manufacturing production enterprise software systems.

Six Sigma or Lean Certification.

Experience with IIOT analytics, shop floor tools, manufacturing robots.

Experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, and/or JIRA.

Experience with Azure IOT Framework.

Knowledge of physical security systems and protocols.

Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in manufacturing settings.

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Working Conditions:

Travel: 10-15%

Hybrid (in the office 2-3x per week)

Location: Knoxville, TN

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,900-$160,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive program.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
