As part of PMC Engineering group, you will be one among the team designing & sustaining portable gas detectors Be able to work in multidisciplinary team Perform Electronics system development, schematic design, Circuit simulation, detailed design, working with regulatory agencies, verification testing & interfacing with cross functional teams while meeting the requirements. Coordinate team efforts of interdisciplinary engineers (Mechanical, Firmware, ECAD, Evaluation) for design of product and potential risk identification. Perform design analysis results (Stress, Tolerance, Timing, power etc) and provide technical expertise for design trade off. Work with operations and supply chain to ensure manufacturability of the product and participate in production test equipment development and design transfer activities. Additional responsibilities include proof of concept firmware development, data acquisition software applications, technical report generation, documentation & progress reporting. Maintain high quality documentation of the entire design as required by quality organization. Perform hands-on work in the lab, as required. · B. S/ M.S in Electronics Engineering / 5 to 9 years of experience · Hands on experience with Micro Processor based systems, Analog & Digital system design, Power Supply Design and Interfacing with Sensors. · Minimum two complete product development life cycle experience (initiation, POC, design validation, launch and post release maintenance). · Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as USB, DDR, SGMII, HDMI, SPI, and I2C. Exposure to Wireless Interfaces like WiFi and BLE · Hands on experience with circuits design and error budgeting. · Ability to statistically analyse data with software tools like MS Excel/MATLAB/Minitab **WE VALUE** · Ability to develop embedded programs in C-language · Knowledge of six sigma principles in product design & development. · Prefer working experience with analog Sensor signal conditioning circuits with micro-Controllers / Processor integration · ATEX/ Flame Proof design · Intrinsic safety (IS) protection technique for safe operation of electrical equipment for Hazards Environment · Utilize software tools for circuit design, simulation, and analysis. · Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, or industrial hardware. · Familiarity with regulatory compliance and testing. · Passion for innovation and mentoring engineering talent. · Ensure designs meet regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, UL, RoHS). · Implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
