The AT Airborne Spectrum Dominance (ASD) Advanced Electro-Optics (AEO) team is seeking an Associate Director (P6), Program Manager to lead a fast-paced, highly-complex program with an aggressive cost and schedule timeline. The program straddles the traditional development process by having concurrent contracted research and development (CRAD) concurrent with the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) and the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) acquisition phases. Having an aggressive schedule driven by a strong national security need, this program is developing a first-of-its-kind capability which will be heavily influenced by the concurrent CRAD results.
The PM will work with a large team of highly capable science and engineering staff, as well as other functional support team members, to execute this strategically important advanced technology effort to include technical risk reduction, design for manufacture and reliability, flight qualification, operational readiness, design for maintenance, logistics planning, interfacing and coordination with receiving platform primes, and all necessary steps in preparation for low-rate initial production.
This role is Onsite in McKinny, Texas.
**What You Will Do**
+ Partner closely with AEO and ASD leadership to contribute to the strategy and growth plans, plus drive capture activities to achieve growth goals and commitments
+ Frequent customer and internal management interactions to ensure good communication and relationships
+ Communicate with the customer base and provide support to our Raytheon Product Line transition partners
+ Must be able to travel approximately 20%, or based on business need
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience
+ Experience managing development programs
+ Capture management winning new business experience
+ Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date **with the ability to obtain program access after start**
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Advanced degree with experience in STEM
+ Demonstrated experience leading new business capture activities winning new business in a competitive environment – from small study contracts to larger systems technology maturation programs
+ Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills with an ability to provide compelling messaging to senior management and customers
+ Ability to focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward teams, enabling them to achieve desired results
+ Experience transitioning technology demo programs into EMD and production programs
+ Proven track record maturing DoD technology development efforts into field/flight test programs
+ Active and passive EO technology, system design and testing knowledge
+ Demonstrated experience managing program staffing, assignments, and resources
+ Experience leading, executing, and improving program management processes

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
