The AT Airborne Spectrum Dominance (ASD) Advanced Electro-Optics (AEO) team is seeking an Associate Director (P6), Program Manager to lead a fast-paced, highly-complex program with an aggressive cost and schedule timeline. The program straddles the traditional development process by having concurrent contracted research and development (CRAD) concurrent with the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) and the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) acquisition phases. Having an aggressive schedule driven by a strong national security need, this program is developing a first-of-its-kind capability which will be heavily influenced by the concurrent CRAD results. The PM will work with a large team of highly capable science and engineering staff, as well as other functional support team members, to execute this strategically important advanced technology effort to include technical risk reduction, design for manufacture and reliability, flight qualification, operational readiness, design for maintenance, logistics planning, interfacing and coordination with receiving platform primes, and all necessary steps in preparation for low-rate initial production. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
