Job Description

What are your contributions to the team?

Design and develop new vehicle architectures that meet regulatory and customer expectations.Lead physical and functional integration of vehicle systems and components from concept to program approval.Analyze and create alternative design concepts and resolve packaging and adaptation issues as vehicles progress toward production.Translate strategic and functional objectives into technical requirements and benchmark competitive vehicles.Utilize CAD tools (NX, TeamCenter, Vis Mockup) to create, manipulate, and present designs to stakeholders.Lead cross-functional teams, balancing design, performance, and manufacturing needs.Present ideas and design solutions to higher levels of management.

Qualifications

How to thrive in this role?

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent).5+ years of experience in vehicle engineering (e.g., Body-in-White, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, or Interior Systems).Expertise in NX CAD Software, TeamCenter, and Vis Mockup.Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and global regions.Demonstrated ability to operate both independently and within cross-functional teams.Eligible for TN Visa (Canadian citizenship required).

Preferred qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Broad vehicle knowledge and stakeholder integration experience.Strong relationship-building and change management abilities.Skilled in presenting complex ideas and data to management.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
