Event and Resource Scheduler, Provision Cost of Sales (Remote)
Pearson EL&S is looking for a skilled Event and Resource Scheduler with experience in B2B IT training to join our remote workforce. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and contribute to projects across various departments while handling operational responsibilities. Reporting directly to Live Training Operations Manager - India, this position prefers candidates based within their supported region. Travel may be required for up to 15%, though relocation support is not offered.
Key Responsibilities
· Post-Sales Implementation: Manage customer training needs by providing contract-based sessions and overseeing registration, portal setup, and marketing arrangements. Ensure invoice accuracy and resolve billing concerns with accounting according to company guidelines.
· Communication: Conduct all written and spoken interactions professionally and courteously, following established company policies.
· Relationship Management: Foster strong customer connections by promptly responding to questions about orders, invoices, and shipments. Communicate feedback to management and serve as a link between sales teams and clients regarding billing and credit, consistently meeting Pearson EL&S standards.
Required Skills & Experience
· Proven ability to exercise sound judgment when providing customer service, along with strong proficiency in both phone and computer use.
· Skilled at multitasking efficiently in fast-paced environments.
· Outstanding communication skills.
· Highly competent with Microsoft Office applications (including Copilot, Excel, and Word) and capable of independently troubleshooting minor technical problems.
· Project management experience is preferred.
· Dependable team player who is focused on customer satisfaction; demonstrates resilience, patience, empathy, organization, reliability, and attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions
· Train and support the sales team; provide customer support through analysis and implementation.
· Oversee group and client training sessions.
· Update procedural documentation and extranet portal.
· Support Skilling Suite B2B training efforts.
· Manage class registration and assist students/stakeholders with selections.
· Coordinate class approvals with client managers.
· Work with accounting/collections to reduce bad debt.
· Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree or at least two years of related experience is required.
· Two to five years in customer service, technical support, or similar roles.
· Must have a high school diploma; college courses are a plus.
· Capable of handling multiple tasks on computers and phones simultaneously.
· Able to think creatively and work independently, even under pressure.
· Dependable, proactive, and demonstrate strong judgment.
