Reporting to the Manager, Advance Qualification Program (AQP), the AQP Software Manager is responsible for the effective configuration, maintenance of the Training Management Software. This role ensures accurate tracking of pilot qualifications and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
As the primary liaison for Flight Operations departments on training software matters, coordinating with Corporate IT and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for managing Air Canada Rouge’s integration into the mainline AQP Framework. This includes, overseeing the transition to a new training software platform and replacing legacy systems.

Responsibilities\:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Proven teamwork, managerial, and administrative skills. Breadth (the scope) of skills and expertise required for the position.
Fluency in English Language to Air Canada Standard.
Familiar with airline training management software such as MINT is an asset.
Advanced ability to use MS office suite including Excel.
Strong Knowledge of Database operations (MS Access/SQL) and report generation an asset.
Familiarity with JavaScript and basic programming an asset.
Strong Working knowledge of Transport Canada aviation regulations and pilot training requirements.
Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
