Position Purpose:

Work as an individual contributor or lead a team of  Analysts in delivering commercial analytics projects, specifically resource optimization, predictive modeling, segmentation and targeting, forecasting, customer and brand performance analytics projects

Interact and communicate with internal business stakeholders in different Business Units and external clients to gather project background, business requirements and end objective

Support development and analytics activities in Advanced Analytics Team

Role & Accountabilities:

Advice, Partner & Support clients / IQVIA counterparts in business units on using analytics to solve business problems

Lead a team to execute and implement promotional return (ROI analysis), Resource and price optimization analysis, Physician / patient profiling

Proactively communicate, internally and externally with business counterparts or clients, ensuring that any issues / concerns are handled in a timely manner

Ensure Continuous improvement by driving delivery excellence and building team’s capabilities

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as well as an individual

Proper documentation of all the project related activities

Education:

Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics / Data Mining
 

Skills & Experience:

3-5 years of experience in analytics using the following skills:

 Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point. Experience in Excel VBA or other dashboarding technologies is a plus

Proficiency in base R, Python, SQL and SAS

 Automating the predominant offerings with the help of open-source tools like R / Python etc. 

 Analytical techniques like regression (linear & logistic), PCA, Factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forest, GBT, SVM, CNN, RNN and Time Series analysis

 Past experience of putting Machine Learning models in production is a plus

 Demonstrated participation in contests like Kaggle is a plus

Good to have:

Familiar with pharmaceutical domain, concepts, and terminologies, understanding of broader healthcare market dynamics (broad themes/latest trends in the pharma industry etc.)

Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
