ADRD Postdoc - #Faculty

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing (JHSON) has a 12-month, renewable position for a Postdoctoral Fellowship (working onsite). The Postdoctoral student will work closely with research faculty to support the conduct of health services research projects involving analyses of large health care datasets. Start date: 08/25/25.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
+ Conducting research with administrative health care data
+ Writing programming code in R, PYTHON, or SAS to support research on managed heath care data
+ Contributing to dissemination content for the study website
+ Contributing to the writing of research manuscripts
+ Creating formatted results such as tables and graphics
+ Participating in regular online project meetings
+ Completing required human subjects training and remaining current with all required research and privacy trainings
Minimum Qualifications
+ PhD or similar doctorate degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., economics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, computational science)
+ Proficiency in data management and statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, SAS, STATA, R, SQL)
+ Interest in applied research on managed health care organizations and systems
+ The ability to work both collaboratively and independently on assigned tasks
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with PYTHON, R, or SAS
+ Research experience in public health, health economics, medicine, or nursing
+ Experience using Medicare and/or Medicaid administrative data
+ Experience using other healthcare data
Salary: $62,232
Candidates will need to include a CV, 3 letters of recommendations, and a manuscript sample.

The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting.
