We are seeking an experienced nurse to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while providing clinical and operational leadership during the assigned shift. RN preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation
Supervising nursing staff in the absence of the DON
Reviewing staffing at shift change and adjusting assignments as needed
Conducting patient care rounds and resolving clinical/operational concerns
Monitoring staff performance and initiating coaching or corrective action when necessary
Communicating shift updates to DON, ADON, and Unit Managers
Participating in committee meetings and supporting overall facility operations
Qualifications:
Active nursing license (RN preferred, not required)
Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
