The Admissions Coordinator’s responsibilities include:

Responsible for census management and efficient admissions to facility. Touring prospective customers and explaining facility objectives. Meeting and interviewing new patients, explaining insurance benefits and bill of rights. Obtaining informed consent for medical record and financial folder.Inputting patient demographics to computer program and place face sheets on chart. Verifying primary insurance benefits and authorizing admissions to facility when applicableCommunicating with facility departments regarding patient information. Identifying physicians to attend.

Location: Morton Plant Rehab – Clearwater, FLStatus: Part time, 24 hours per weekShift Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Weekend Requirement: Every

Education:

Required High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Associate’s Degree

Experience:

Required 2 years’ experience Related FieldPreferred 2 years’ experience with medical insurance/MedicarePreferred 2 years’ experience in Skilled Nursing
