Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative (CSR) with experience working across multiple insurance carriers in an independent agency setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, professional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, team members, insurance carriers, and underwriters. This role requires a proactive individual who can cross-sell multiple lines of insurance within an existing book of business, while also becoming proficient in both our agency management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support and customer service.Manage data entry and inbound calls efficiently.Ensure high levels of accuracy in tasks and documentation.Communicate professionally with team members and external partners.Cross-sell multiple lines of insurance within the existing client base.Collaborate with leadership, insurance carriers, and underwriters.Become proficient in agency management and CRM systems.Provide sales support to agents to achieve sales goals.Essential SkillsActive Property and Casualty insurance license.Experience with multiple insurance carriers in an independent agency.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, team members, carriers, and underwriters.Proven ability to cross-sell insurance products.Proficiency in agency management and CRM systems.Demonstrated punctuality and strong work ethic.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service and administrative support experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.Willingness to work in multiple locations within a 20-mile radius.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an office setting. Candidates should be open to rotating between office locations within a 20-mile radius.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vincennes, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.44/hr.
