Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking an Administrator (Delivery Team) to provide high-quality support in work order administration, including scoping and payments. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will collaborate with both client and BGIS teams to ensure smooth project administration, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent outcomes 📑.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, process, and review trade invoices, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Support administrative responsibilities across projects, ensuring client needs are met. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with reporting to management. Respond to and resolve customer complaints and feedback. Assist with housing management contract administration. Support compliance with legislation, policies, and health & safety requirements. Build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly with Kāinga Ora and other stakeholders.

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

Practical experience in an administration or similar role. Strong people skills and proven ability to support project delivery. Highly organised, with strong time management skills. Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Experience dealing with customer complaints and resolving issues.

Desirable:

Knowledge of relevant trades within facilities management. Experience with housing or government contracts. Additional administrative or project-related training.

Workplace Flexibility

This position is based on-site in Christchurch to support client and operational needs. Over time, there may be opportunities for flexible hybrid working arrangements.
