This exciting position provides administrative and secretarial support to NextEra Energy’s VP of Corporate Development and Strategy, in addition to the Corporate Development and Strategy team. A successful candidate will be able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest quality work product. The qualified individual must be detail-oriented, able to follow precise instructions and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook. A background including corporate administrative experience is preferred. **Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:** + Accurately maintain calendar(s) + Manage and prioritize phone messages + Play the lead role in coordinating meetings; as well as Quality events and ceremonies + Assist with all correspondence (letters, email, etc.…) + Schedule all conference calls and meetings + Actively manage schedules and appointments + Coordinate office moves within the business unit + Arrange travel & prepare itineraries + General office administrative duties + Strong proficiency in MS Office products (PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) + Coordinate support with the team of other administrative professionals + Proactively complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned **Job Overview** Employees in this job perform diversified and confidential administrative duties by applying broad and comprehensive experience, skills, and knowledge of organizational policies and practices.
