The Plant Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant’s administrative processes. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and provides administrative support across the plant’s compliance, financial, payroll, production, and safety functions. The Plant Administrator will execute and guide related administrative duties to a high standard—ensuring work is accurate, timely, and efficient—while supporting overall business objectives in accordance with company policies, procedures, and management direction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nData entry, payroll processing, document control, and record keeping\nOSHA System Compliance\nProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders\nEstablish and maintain working relationships with managers and supervisors across the site\nGenerate and update reports where required\nEffective and on-time management of manufacturing process data\nEfficient record keeping relating to stock-takes and other processes\nAdminister stock management process ensuring inventory discrepancies are minimized\nAdminister new employees including coordination with corporate partners, pre-employment medical screenings, and orientation\nMaintain site training matrix and safety compliance calendar\nCreate and roll out training material\nAssist in the creation, maintenance, and training of work instructions, JSAs, audits, etc.\nOrganize industrial hygiene examinations and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and requirements\nMaintain health and safety records and programs to a high standard and in line with OSHA VPP requirements\nRecord significant accomplishments with respect to process improvement and safety

Excellent communications skills\nHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy \nMotivated/self-starter with a can-do attitude\nAbility to work independently\nAbility to build relationships with various levels of an organization\n Key Skills and Experience Required\n\n5 years’ experience within an Administration or related role \nPrevious payroll processing experience, ideally with Kronos preferred \nPrevious experience with ERP Systems, ideally JD Edwards preferred\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint \nThe ability to work in a safe and respectful manner\nFamiliarity with Excel Macros or VBA a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
