Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of carbon, HSLA and alloy steels from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth we have a part-time entry level opening in our Billing Department. This position would be perfect for anyone with previous data entry, administrative, credit, payables or receivable experience. 

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Billing: Receive material for direct shipments and bill, Follow up on exception reports, Enter new part numbers in ERP System (Great Plains), Monitor review hold report and resolve timely, Process credits related to customer returns, Transfer material in system to outside processors.

Certifications: Follow up on emails in the certification email inbox, Ensure issues are resolved timely and filed, Save mill certification reports via data entry using naming convention, Obtain missing mill certification reports for material received, Be the liason between sales team and suppliers for mill certification change requests, Provide mill certification reports when requested, Enter mill certification data into applications (Great Plains/CAT website), Daily upload of certification reports.

Accounts Receivable: Apply cash paid via ACH to customer accounts.

Other Duties as Assigned Which May Include: Entering purchase orders in ERP System, Assisting credit department in sending out and responding to reference requests, Emailing invoices upon customer request, Applying cash posted to lockbox and wires, Following up on missing sales tax exemption certificates and entering them into website.

Desired Skills: Ability to enter data quickly and accurately, Attention to detail, Must be able to multitask, Strong organizational skills - need to be able to keep email files and inboxes clean, Ability to problem solve, Basic Excel skills, Prior experience in receivables/payables/banking/credit/collections a plus.
