RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Administrative Supervisor for the Nursing Supervisors Department, at Monmouth Medical Center.

Qualifications:
Required:
+ BA/BA Degree
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Proficient computer skills
+ Personal computer, CRT, Patient Care Equipment
Certifications and Licenses Required:
+ BLS and ACLS certification
+ Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements:
+ Night shift, 28 hours per week
Essential Functions:
+ The Administrative Supervisor represents hospital Administration and as such serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team and is invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift.
+ The Administrative Supervisor is responsible to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center.
+ The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
+ The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
+ The Administrative Supervisor assures safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence based practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available.
+ The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
