Administrative Specialist for Rolling Stock Authorisations (f/m/d)

Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and has been a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Our core business consists of rail vehicles, infrastructure, rail automation, electrification solutions and related services.

At the moment, we are seeking a highly organized Authorization Specialist Rolling Stock to join our Rolling Stock Authorization team.

How will your team look like?

Since 2021, a team in the Czech Republic has been involved in the authorization of rail vehicles from Siemens Mobility's portfolio for operation on target tracks. This activity is carried out in close cooperation with colleagues in the headquarters in Germany, who have extensive experience with rail vehicle authorization. The team in the Czech Republic currently has seven members, and we are now looking for another colleague. On a daily bases.

Key Responsibilities:

You will support the authorization process of our rolling stock, from locomotives to our commuter and long-distance trains. During the processing, you will contact domestic and foreign authorities and therefore represent an important interface for usYou will also be involved in the clarification of authorization requirements Your responsibility will be coordinating, planning and monitoring the authorization activities assigned to youCoordination and follow-up of selected authorization tests may also be part of your tasks

Your expected qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical or industrial engineeringFluent English, German is an advantageBasic understanding of rolling stock technology - advantageYou are a team player, assertive and open to working with employees from a wide variety of departments
