Job Description:
The DHS CBP Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD) serves as the Independent Test Authority (ITA) for CBP acquisition programs and requires comprehensive systems engineering and test and evaluation (T&E) support. SimIS seeks an Administrative Specialist to provide essential administrative support for all program activities, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with government requirements, and effective coordination between team members and government stakeholders. This role requires expertise in government contracting procedures, document management, and coordination of complex logistics including travel, meetings, and deliverable submissions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fieldMinimum 3 years of administrative support experience in government contracting environmentExperience with government contracting procedures and requirementsAbility to obtain and maintain DHS suitability background checkTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management toolsKnowledge of document management and version control systemsUnderstanding of travel coordination and logistics managementFamiliarity with government reporting requirements and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate administrative support for all program activities and deliverablesManage document control and version management for all project deliverablesCoordinate travel arrangements for field teams and government meetingsSupport meeting coordination, scheduling, and logisticsAssist with preparation of monthly status reports and administrative documentationMaintain project files and ensure compliance with government record-keeping requirementsCoordinate with government stakeholders for administrative mattersSupport contract administration and deliverable submission processesManage team logistics and administrative coordinationEnsure compliance with DHS administrative and security requirementsSupport quality management processes with administrative coordinationAssist with onboarding and administrative support for new team membersBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Short-Term Disability (at no cost to you) & Long-Term DisabilityLife Insurance 401(k) Savings Plan Flex Spending Accounts Tuition Assistance Program Professional Development Paid Time Off (PTO) 11 Federal Holidays each year SimIS, Inc. is an EOE / M / F / Disability / VET / Drug Free Employer
