This position is designed to provide administrative support for the Dean’s Office. This individual will perform a wide range of administrative and clerical duties essential for the day-to-day operations of the College of Education and Human Development. Full-time, regular position, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Normal daily work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position pays $21.09/hour, or applicable transfer rate in accordance with the ACSUM collective bargaining agreement.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide administrative support for the Dean’s Office
+ Serve as the Faculty Point-of-Contact within Shibles Hall
+ Provide event support, Including (but not limited to):
+ Ordering Food for Events, Booking On-Campus Spaces, Booking Hotel Rooms and Travel for Guests, and
+ Providing Administrative Support for Events
+ Manages the calendar of and provides direct staff support to the Associate Dean
+ Provide support for office projects
+ Assist with office correspondence
+ Serve as the building manager and assist with space planning
+ Provide administrative support for searches
+ Other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
+ 60 credits or more of higher education or equivalent work experience and training; AND three years administrative support experience.
+ The Education, Training, and Work Experience listed above are intended to serve as a general guideline for recruiting purposes. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the education required of the assigned position.
+ Proven Experience Working with Sensitive or Confidential Information
+ Demonstrated Comfort Communicating in a Variety of Formats, Including Face-to-Face, Written, and On the Phone
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Any Field
+ 3-5 Years Experience in an Office Setting or Other Customer-Facing Position
+ Previous Experience in an Administrative Position
+ Prior Experience Providing Event Support
+ Proficiency with Google Suites and Microsoft Suites
+ Previous Experience Working in an Academic Setting
+ Demonstrated Computer Proficiency and Ability to Learn New/Unfamiliar Software
+ Experience managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, using independent judgment and
+ Initiative, and task-switching as needed
