We are seeking anAdministrative Program Specialist Ato support statewide program operations through HR coordination, payroll oversight, compliance, and executive support. Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Personnel and Records Management- serves as Human Resources Liaison between OAAS State and Regional Offices and LDH HR. Responsible for initiating, completing, and submitting all personnel action forms; ensuring all HR documents (work schedules, performance documents, positions descriptions) are updated per LDH and Civil Service Policy and Procedure; ensures required trainings are completed timely. + Payroll Management and Time Administration- provides oversight for OAAS time and attendance records, reviewing, auditing, and reconciling attendance records for accuracy and completeness. + Emergency Preparedness- updates and maintains the Employee Emergency Database. + Program Integrity- maintains up-to date knowledge of program rules and requirements; develops and maintains standard operating procedures as related to OAAS administrative and programmatic functions; serves as the National Voters Registration Act (NVRA) liaison. + Administrative and Other Support Functions- Performs responsible and confidential administrative support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary; performs duties necessary for the effective operation of OAAS; travel as required; fulfills obligation for State's emergency preparedness and response efforts as assigned during an emergency.
