Researchers in Infection Biology are working to combat the global health emergencies of today and the future. They work to rapidly develop diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutics to prepare for and protect against current and future pathogen threats. As an Administrative Program Coordinator in this department, your work directly assists in the coordination and development of innovative policies and improvement initiatives. Serving as a liaison across various departments, you will identify opportunities to facilitate an efficient workplace where fellow caregivers can support patients and deliver world-class treatments. These opportunities include rescheduling patients, setting up imaging orders, and discussing preparations. This position offers the chance to grow your career within an innovative setting, all while making a difference in healthcare every day.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM—5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
With guidance from Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.
Update, monitor and manage databases.
Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress. Analyzes project improvement and progress.
Report discrepancies and variances.
Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.
Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation, and communication of meetings.
Attend meetings and record key outcomes.
Support all office administrative functions.
Develop and maintain updates.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Healthcare experience or related organization

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
