Key Responsibilities: + Working 20hours/week alongside the BCH Ophthalmology administrative team and their providers. + Focusing on helping the team with daily administrative tasks this internship will build competencies in patient communication/interaction, scheduling, chart prep/oversight, as well as many other aspects of Hospital Administration. + After training period, opportunities to shadow other areas of the department allowing for a more well-rounded overview of the different opportunities in healthcare. Minimum Qualifications + Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Healthcare administration majors/minors preferred + Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations + Have the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
